About Elijah

Hi there! My name is Elijah, and I love working with kids and families. I've spent the past few years teaching and serving youth, including teaching classes for elementary and middle school students for a year and leading Sunday school for two years. I currently serve middle schoolers in a leadership role, which has taught me patience, creativity, and how to balance being fun while also keeping structure. I grew up in a family-first home, so I value respecting the household rules and creating a safe, positive environment. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I'm happy to help with whatever is needed whether that's cooking, cleaning, driving, housekeeping, or supporting homework and activities. I recently graduated high school and I am currently attending a local college in the Portland area! Families describe me as enthusiastic, reliable, and engaging, while also able to step up and be serious when it counts. My goal is always to make kids feel cared for, supported, and encouraged.
