About Elidet

Eli was our morning angel. My mother had a small stroke in 2022 and it took a while to find the perfect caregivers for her. Eli was definitely one of them. She would tiptoe in every morning at 6 am and patiently sit on the bed until my mother woke up. She would take care of all of the morning routine, so when I rolled out of bed my mother would be all set up with her reading glasses, newspaper and a giant smile on her face. Eli has a way of making everything feel light. She sees the humor in everything, like the time she came in and my mother’s shoes were thrown across the room. Some of the caretakers we had treated my brilliant mother like a toddler. Eli treated my mother with respect and talked to her and entertained her for hours. My mother loved her. When my mother died, Eli made the most spectacular tropical flower arrangements for the funeral, and she definitely did not charge enough. I know she did it out of love. Eli is incredibly multitalented, conscientious, genuinely caring, and she cleans houses as well!
