Hello! I'm a recent (2-yr) graduate out if college, with a BA in Psychology. I began my experience working with children, specifically those with special needs, mid college. I worked as a Behavior Technician (BT) in a clinic. I learned researched-based ways to handle challenging behavior with many clients (3-7 years old). I then worked for a company, post-college, also as a BT. There, I grew and practiced my knowledge of behavior intervention in the Middle-school setting. Currently, I work as a paraeducator for elementary schools, employed by an agency. I work with kids on both academic and behavioral support. I have learned the importance of balancing consistency and flexibility when working with kids. I also have collaborated with parents over their child's care clinically, and with SPED teachers over students' education. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and watching television shows that help me understand more about human behavior and social interactions.
