About Eliana

I am a graduate of Elon University who majored in Special Education and Elementary Education and minored in Poverty and Social Justice. I am currently working as a preschool teacher and recently worked as a special educator, but am hoping to find a nanny position where I can have more instructional time with children through play-based learning. I have over 11 years of experience working with children ages 22 months-13 years. I particularly enjoy teaching young children. During the summers I have worked as a camp counselor at an outdoor nature camp, a nanny, and an instructional aide. At Elon, I was in an honors program for future educators, tutored college students with learning disabilities, volunteered at an after school program on campus, was active with a campus organization that provided free babysitting, and babysat for a family nearby. I am comfortable working with children of varied abilities. I have a passion for watching children learn and grow.
