About Elia Eve

I'd describe myself as active, easygoing and loyal. I love working with kids because I love their energy and curiosity. I love to see them develop into capable individuals who have a strong sense of self. I'm looking for a job where I can form personal and meaningful relationships with families. I volunteered with kids 14 years ago as a junior coach for a running program and as a camp counselor. I then began to babysit (ages 8 months - 12 years) during high school and college, where I studied to become an elementary teacher. I was a teacher for 4 years and also tutored several students in Grades 3 to 10 for the last 6 years. Working with children has been and always will be a constant in my life. In my spare time, I like to exercise, cook, puzzle and spend time with family. Some of my skills from being a teacher and babysitter include building meaningful relationships, calm behavior management strategies, limiting screen time, organization and time management.
