I'd describe my personality as: Creative. Relentless. Practical. I like working with kids because: they're not cynical yet, which is a good thing. I absolutely love watching the click happen, and for a lot of the kids that I teach and have taught. I'm looking for a job that gives flexible hours, and respects my expertise. I started working with kids when I was 18. I was a Nanny in Jupiter, Florida for two pre-teen girls. I was their de facto parent because both of their parents worked in aviation and were gone 75% of the time. In my spare time, I like to read biographies and books about historical events, and I love a good documentary. I also write, make short films, and I'm into nature and landscape photography. One thing you should know about me is I don't just teach skills-- I teach students to believe they can do anything they put their minds to. My skills include: Patience under pressure. Active engagement, not just supervision. Structure with warmth.
