About Elena

I cared for my mother. She needed help with all basic day to day activities. I do know how frustrating it can be to not know what year it is or who the people are around you. I spent time with my grandfather who suffered from Alzheimer's. Often redirecting and reminiscing can be helpful and staying in a familiar location. I know that I appreciated having someone come to the house and just hangout and chat with your loved one while you have some me time was very helpful. I'd describe my personality as easy going, funny and unsinkable. If you can throw it at me I can handle it with a smile. I like caring for seniors because they are people with so much life to share. We often never appreciate the generation before us and it's so silly because they have gone thru the same human condition as us. I'm looking for a job that to be able to contribute in a small way to making life easier. One thing you should know about me is I'm reliable. If I commit to something I'll be there.
