About Elena

My first time as a baby sitter was two years ago, taking care of a 2-month-old. I cared for this child for two years. I took care of this child with the same love and care that I give my children. Unfortunately, I had to leave my job in January 2008 because the family moved to NY. This was a part-time job in the afternoon. At the present time I'm working with two different families in the evening. I look after two kids; one is in elementary school and the second one is in high school. I pick them up from school and make sure they are safe at home doing their schoolwork or chores. I also take them to after-school activities or to other places they need to go. I do light laundry and run a few errands occasionally. This is Monday through Thursday. On Fridays afternoons I take care of a special needs child. This precious child was diagnosed with autism. I wait for her at the bus stop and provide her with the things she needs. Even though she has autism, she's a bright and intelligent child, so she does almost everything for herself. I just make sure that she's not in any danger. I would be a perfect candidate for this job because as a mother of two, now young adults, I know what is like to care and love your child, because there is absolutely nothing more wonderful than the love of a child and the love you can give them.
