About Elena

I grew up on a farm in Spain where animals were a part of everyday life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I was responsible for the daily care of horses, goats, chickens, ducks, birds, cats, and dogs, and I even trained our horses, thus building patience, confidence, and a strong understanding of animal behavior. In addition to my farm background, I have extensive hands-on experience through a four-year internship with a veterinarian, where I gained in-depth knowledge of animal health, behavior, and proper care. This experience taught me how to recognize signs of illness or distress, administer basic care, and handle animals safely and calmly. I currently have pets of my own, all of which I actively train and care for, so I understand how important consistency, trust, and routine are for animals. I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.
