About Elena

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. With a college degree and experience as a teaching assistant and tennis coach, I create engaging and patient learning environments where students develop critical thinking skills. I actively listen to students, observe their learning styles, and encourage open communication, including regular check-ins with parents. By connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating small successes, I keep students motivated. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and their growing confidence is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have CPR training and First Aid certification. I'm comfortable tutoring at various locations and can help with Math, English, Science, Art, Study Skills, and History.
