About Eleanor

Hello. My name is Elle. I am currently a teacher's aide at a school here in Ithaca, and have 6 years experience working with children, both as a camp counselor and a babysitter. Specifically, I worked for 5 summers as a summer camp counselor, where I worked with groups of children of different ages between 6 and 18 years old. I also worked as a substitute teacher for a year and subbed for all grades Pre K-6. As an aide, I currently work in a 1st grade classroom. I also worked as a babysitter for a young boy aged 1 for a year. Due to all of these jobs, I have experience in behavior management, planning and facilitating activities, dealing with high emotions and crises, and remaining cool under pressure, as well as taking care of young toddlers. I am particularly interested in afternoons after 3 until July and afternoons after 1 starting this summer.
