About Eleanor

I have over eight years of babysitting experience caring for children from infancy through age 12. I truly enjoy working with children and strive to create a safe, calm, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. I am patient and gentle when working with young children and love to engage them in meaningful, age appropriate activities such as puzzles, reading books, spending time outdoors, and creative play. I communicate well with parents and make it a priority to enforce each family's household rules and routines. I have personal experience with special needs, as two of my sisters have Down syndrome. Learning to care for them has helped me develop patience and understanding of how to support children with various needs and abilities. While studying Social Work and Trauma Psychology, I have taken many classes focused on child development and family systems. This has helped me have a better understanding of how to best care for young children.
