I have a large amount of experience working with children. I come from a large family, I'm the oldest of three younger sisters so I've been around children my whole life. Starting when I was 9, I would spend my summers babysitting for families in my community. I also volunteered at our community summer school and vacation bible school programs to get the educational childcare experience. When I was old enough I began spending my summers lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at my community swimming pool. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I spent this past summer in Hawaii participating in Camp Adventure as an aquatics counselor.
