About El

I'm a future educator and part-time childcare worker who values patience, care, and strong relationship building. I set high expectations while creating a supportive environment and giving children and caregivers agency in their learning and the caregiving I provide. I have 2 years of tutoring experience with City Year Chicago, mainly in ELA for ages 5-15. I currently work in CPS and Charter schools in before/after-school care and recess support. I'll be CPR/First Aid certified as of 11/15/25. I'm confident in most core subjects up to 8th grade, ELA up to 10/11th grade (math to 5th, 8th with materials).
