I have served up to three elementary aged exceptional students at a time, working to modify activities or instruction to best allow the students to successfully be included with their peers. I have worked with children on the autism spectrum, with developmental delays, and with Down syndrome. Despite the challenges of working with students with exceptional needs, I find it incredibly fulfilling and always interesting.
