About Elaine

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with 4 years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Science, History, and test preparation for elementary and middle school students. I believe in fostering a love for learning by building confidence rather than relying on rote memorization. By actively observing how students interact with new material, I tailor my approach--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions--to suit their unique needs. I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect concepts to personal interests to keep students engaged. Clear, consistent communication with both student and parents remains a priority to ensure we are always working toward their goals. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a young student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I look forward to being a part of their academic journey and success.
