Caring for young children has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I'm a retired journalist who now spends my time writing novels and doing what I love most--helping little ones learn, grow and thrive. I've cared for children of all ages throughout my life and have spent the past three years as a nanny, caring for one child from birth until he recently started preschool. I strive to create a calm, loving atmosphere where children feel secure, confident, and free to explore. Whether we're reading books, solving puzzles, playing outdoors, or using our imaginations, I enjoy encouraging curiosity while supporting each child's unique development. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, comfortable following household routines, and happy to help with light housekeeping.
