I just updated my profile from 2016. As the youngest of 9 kids, I was taught at an early age to do my share of the daily cleaning. I was fortunate to stop working when our kids were 2 and 1 (now 32 and 34) so I know how hard it is to work, take care of kids and clean. I only have 11 years of being paid for cleaning services but have over 40 years of house cleaning experience. I have cleaned for 17 homes through care. com. Elaine cleaned the first floor of our home just a few days, and because of her excellent work we are planning to hire her for regular weekly cleanings. She was incredibly thorough in cleaning everything on the main level - throwing back rugs to get the dust and dirt underneath, moving (light) furniture to get into the corners, etc. I'd recently tried another cleaner, and it was clear they stopped cleaning anywhere it wasn't convenient for them. (There were still dust-bunnies under the sofa, etc.) Not so with Elaine! You can tell she's been cleaning for years and sees a thorough clean as "everything, everywhere," which I really appreciate. So glad to have found her!
