About Elaine

My 10 years of home childcare and elder care experience, combined with my college degrees in Nursing and Early Child Development , have equipped me to provide engaging and supportive care for children or adults of all ages. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing educational games that promote learning. I'm happy to follow your lead on household rules and communicate with you in your preferred way about your child's day. I am also certified in CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation and First Aid as a retired Registered Nurse for many years. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at a time, including twins. I can assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision ( former lifeguard!). I am also comfortable around pets. As a doula, I am equipped to help you with your new baby! I am ready to make a positive impact on your child's life, and I look forward to the opportunity to get to know your family.
