About Elaine

Elaine was the full-time nanny (5 days a week, 8 hour days) of our 2 children (ages 2.5 years and newborn when she first started) for almost 2 years. She was nurturing, kind and a wonderful extension of our family. She comes with extensive experience caring for and teaching children. She also watched our dog on occasion when we traveled. Elaine was always punctual and dependable, and also helped with household chores, including cooking, light cleaning and laundry which was invaluable for 2 full-time working parents. She built wonderful relationships with our kids, doing various activities and planning adventures during the week, and also assisted with drop-off and pick-up from school and camp. She has a nice ability to be warm and friendly while also firm and directive, which was particularly helpful in caring for our toddler. Elaine has a positive presence and attitude and is able to take feedback constructively.
