About Elaine

Hello! My name is Elaine but I also go by Ames! I've worked at residential homes for children and through that have gotten a lot of experience working with kids. I like working with kids because they're so curious and full of life. I've always enjoyed helping kids learn and feel understood. I'm patient and love watching them grow in confidence. I enjoy becoming a consistent, caring presence in a child's life and being part of their everyday learning and fun. Through working with kids in residential treatment I gained a deeper understanding of child behavior, emotional needs, and how to connect with kids in a supportive and patient way. I am CPR certified, have my food handlers so I am comfortable helping in that area, would love to tidy up after the kids or anything that would help your family the most, I have a college degree in political science. I have my own car so transportation is no issue to me and I would love to pick up and drop off kids if needed and I do not smoke.
