About Eileen

Eileen worked as a live-in child care provider for my 2 boys (ages 5 and 8) for approximately 2 years. She was 100% dependable and had a broad range of responsibilities including meal preparation, homework, social/sports activities, errands and housekeeping. Eileen is a self-starter and manages her time efficiently to accomplish her work. She has an extremely professional and even-tempered personality, and is always pleasant and friendly. She is a fantastic cook and was able over time to broaden my kids' taste in food, including interesting and healthy snacks and dinner entrees. She also cooked amazing gourmet dinners for the entire family on occasion! Eileen also has an arts background and helped to develop an artistic sensibility in both of my kids.They frequently engaged in interesting arts and crafts projects, like cool t-shirt designs and creative painting and clay molding. Eileen was also able to successfully find that difficult balance with kids of maintaining consistency and structure while also allowing spontaneity.Similarly, she managed my kids firmly, helping to keep their less desirable behaviors in check, but always was caring and loving. I whole-heartedly recommend Eileen as a child care provider -- she will be a great asset to any family she works with.
