Hi! I was a full time junior high science teacher until 2018 (16 years). Now I tutor all subjects in elementary, but I specialize in science for jr high students. I also teach science online. Most often I am hired to work with students who have trouble focusing (ADHD or undiagnosed ADHD) or they need help in reading comprehension. Sometimes parents aren't sure what's going on but they see their child is struggling and they want a teacher to point them in the right direction to help get their child back on track again. I have also tutored successfully students with speech apraxia and stuttering issues. The reason I'm successful is because I am experienced and I customize each session to meet your child's needs. I don't just assign some homework or worksheet. I work with him / her, get them engaged in the process and figure out what's holding him / her back. I offer 30 minute sessions for $35 each or 60 minute sessions for $65 each. I also offer packages of 10 sessions.
