Hello, I'm Ed, I'm a healthy Vietnam Era Veteran, father of 4, pappy to 9 grand-kid and widower after 35 wonderful years. In 2019, my wife began to suffer from several serious medical conditions, including cancer. I was her sole companion caregiver 24 hours per day until her battle ended in 2022. Shortly after her passing, my 89-year-old aunt in South Carolina fell and severely shattered her right shoulder and rotor cup. I elected to take care of her for 4 months from February to July 2023 as a live-in companion caregiver. I have been blessed to learn so much as a companion caregiver, most of all compassion & love for my clients and their families. My hours are negotiable depending on circumstances. Food prep, light clean, walk pets, Very proficient with oxygen use both home stay & travel, strong proficiency with loading and offloading wheel chair & other mobile devices. Efficient in administering daily medication, BP & sugar devices. References available upon request.
