I am so disappointed in this hiring. After reading the bad reviews, I went ahead and hired her anyway. I bet the good reviews against the bad ones. I did not believe it would happen to me. IT DID. No phone call, no text, Just nothing.

It appears one cannot depend on what she says. Was told she could come at a certain time and work for a certain pay and later was told the complete opposite and this person backed out at the last minute.
It appears to be not a safe situation for me because we need someone who says what they do and does what they say. My time was wasted as well because someone else could have been booked for that time slot she said she would do.
Very bad business practices.

Edith did an amazing job cleaning my home. She is very hardworking and super kind. We have already scheduled the next cleaning. I'm so glad I found her!

Above all else, Edith is thorough! Best of all, she loves helping families! She has only been to my house once so far, but I think Edith is going to become an important part of our family!

We absolutely love Edith! She has been a true life saver no matter what we need! Whether it be helping with the kids, taking care of our sweet Frenchie, and when life gets the best of us she's there to help with the house work too! She is the friendliest and always shows patience and understanding especially with those last minute requests. I am happy to say I will continue to call in Edith in the future! I chose Edith despite the negative reviews in September. I inquired about the previous negative recommendations, she insisted she did have some issues in the past but those were resolved.  I lined out my expectations of reliability and trust, she assured she could meet.  Through the months, multiple reasons for missed visits, rearranged schedules and I truly tried to work with her but became frustrated.  January I asked again if cleaning my home was too much for her, she stated she was committed to me.  The first time she did not arrive as scheduled, with a no call, no show, I reached out to make sure she was okay.  I let this one slide against my better judgement.  Monday 1/6/2023, she text to inquire if Tuesday was still a go, I said yes to come.  Tuesday gets here, no call, no show.  I will no longer allow the frustration of her unreliability, untrustworthy and lack of common courtesy to cause me undo stress.  Do not recommend. (When she showed up, the house looked great)

This job was an important one for my family given a member just had surgery.   

Edith agreed to take the job. The first time she did not show up. An hour and a half after the time she was due to arrive, Edith answered MY message asking when she would arrive by saying she had an emergency and would reschedule. 

Edith rescheduled and again did not show up. Once again I messaged her at which time she told me she was out shopping with her son. She asked if she could come the following week. 

If one does not plan to show up for a job, one should not take the job. I declined another response to my post thinking that I had filled the need. This has made it very complicated for my family with this post surgery situation. 

Not happy at this point.  Two no-shows is now a no go!

She was 30 mins late the 1st time I had her clean and left without doing the dishes, plus she tossed my sharps container in the sink with all the dishes she didn't do, I gave her a 2nd shot and she text the day of with a pet emergency, we rescheduled and she text again 3 days before the scheduled date and said she had to have a tooth pulled and needed to reschedule. I gave her one last shot just to make sure and she text the day before to make sure she could still come clean, then text again later that night to make sure I had a vacuum cleaner, on the scheduled day she not only didn't show up but didn't text until 2 hours after she was supposed to be here and said she was exhausted and wanted to reschedule.  I was no longer a member of this site but rejoined just to let everyone know highly unreliable Edith is,  I think a 2 yr old would be more reliable at this point.

Edith is a lifesaver! She did an excellent job deep cleaning our apartment!! Also very kind!

Edith is a great caring person. 
She worked in the kitchen.  I haven't seen it that clean in a long time. would be a great housekeeper for anyone. 
Only one problem she had to leave an hour early. But that was OK with me.....family comes first.

Edith is awesome.  She is very thorough, fun, and a pleasant person.  She has been doing a great job so far. And her willingness to help in any way she can is commendable.  I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Great job on first visit and she will be returning next week.
