About Edi

Hi! My name is Edi, and I'm 19 years old with years of hands-on childcare experience. Each summer, I work at United in Harmony, a nonprofit sleep-away camp in California serving underprivileged children ages 5-13. For the past three years, I've been a camp counselor responsible for teaching swim lessons, supervising in the water, leading crafts, helping with meals, cleanup, bedtime routines, and most importantly, creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment. I've also been babysitting since I was 15, caring for children ages 5 to 15, and I have experience tutoring students of all ages throughout my high school and college career. I've helped raise my younger brother by driving him to school, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and more. I'm also an animal lover and totally pet-friendly, having grown up with two dogs. I bring a nurturing, responsible, and enthusiastic attitude to every family I work with! I am also extremely flexible and can work around your needs!
