About Eden

From a young age, caring for my older sister with Autism instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and patience. For the past 10 months, I have worked with adults with special needs, including an elderly client with schizophrenia, dementia, and deafness. I am dedicated to providing support and love to individuals and their families. I am friendly, approachable, and empathetic. I believe in allowing as much freedom and independence as possible, always offering respect and love. Everyone has a story to tell that needs to be heard and appreciated. I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and handling confusion or agitation. I communicate with families through verbal updates and daily reports, always following their preferred method. I have some college experience and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. I can assist with transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
