About Eden

I'm a college student pursuing a career in education, and I love the work I do with kids. My goal is always to bring a balance of fun and support, and connecting with children to understand how to give them the care they need. I'm very easygoing at any time, though I admittedly get goofy quite often, but I also love being able to take a mentor role. I spent two years planning lessons and teaching in a preschool classroom, and loved being able to watch the kids explore and learn new things constantly. I then interned part-time in a 1st grade classroom for a year, which gave me the priceless opportunity to make meaningful connections where I got to help them on such a personal level, whether it was through emotional issues, behavioral issues, or their relationship to school. Most recently, I worked as a summer camp counselor, leading the youngest group of boys--balancing individual needs with group dynamics and keeping things running smoothly. Available Thurs after 12 & all day Fri-Sun.
