I have nearly 11 years of childcare experience. Nearly 11 years of childcare experience when I am only nearly 21 years old may sound strange, but I have a good explanation: I started working with kids when I was a kid myself. I have done multiple forms of volunteer childcare starting from when I was about 10 years old & I have never stopped. Volunteer work was always supervised, but I have been babysitting on my own since I was a teenager. I have been working a big girl job at a preschool for the last 2 years & have been continuing babysitting as an additional source of income. My preschool work is as a door attendant & substitute teacher's assistant. I only work 2 hours a day most days, but usually work up to 5 hours when I am needed as a substitute. Childcare is the most fulfilling job I could ask for. In my spare time, I like to draw, write, play cozy video games, & learn Spanish. I also care for my grandmother who is on hospice in the afternoons when I am not working.
