I'd describe my personality as patient, thoughtful, experienced I like tutoring because it helps students overcome math challenges. I'm looking for a job that involves working with students taking classes that require math and preparing students for exams. I started tutoring math in 1996 and I've trained math tutors, tutored and taught High School and College Math. I was also Cabrillo College Math Learning Center Director for 20 years. In my spare time, I swim, bike, do Tai Chi, cook meals with friends & family. One thing you should know about me is that I am friendly. My skills include (1) adapting what a student knows to what they are learning, (2) active learning focused, (3) helping with Algebra, Trig, Calc, Stats, DEs, Linear Alg, Discrete, Finite & Financial Math, Real Analysis, Abstract Alg, Topology and Logic concepts at multiple levels and apps to wide range of subjects, and (4) proven track record of success at all levels (Refs Available)
