About Eboni

Hello! My name is Eboni, I am a full-time student at NVCC studying Deaf Studies and Interpreting (ASL), I have been learning ASL for about 9-years. Along with my language skills, I ve worked in Special Education for 6 years now. I co-teach, in imersion and self-contained classrooms. I have an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysts) background. I ve worked effectively with kiddos who have short attention spans, working briefly, for a set period of time or to a certain number of times then rewarding with short breaks, trying to increase the momentum and time as the kiddo progresses. I have extensive experience working with children on the autism spectrum, Down syndrome and emotional and behavioral disorders. I am CPI (Crisis Prevention Intrevention) trained and certified as well as CPR, and First Aid. I enjoy mixing work with play, and focus on time management, life and social skills, and routines. I hope to be able to meet your kiddos and family soon!
