About Early

I am an experienced child care professional with over 30 years in the field. I have spent 15 years working as a full-time nanny and house manager for wonderful families. I have experience caring for children from newborns through age 12 and am the mother of three adult children. I have worked for 10 years in licensed child care centers as a lead teacher in 2 years to school-age classrooms. I also served as director of a commercial child care center serving over 100 children for 5 years. I am known for being calm and patient even in challenging situations. I use consistent, age-appropriate guidance techniques that promote positive behavior. I believe the 3 most important aspects of quality child care are safety, fun, and education. Education is important to me, and I take every opportunity to help children learn in exciting ways. I have extensive experience teaching children to read and write and preparing them to succeed in even the most academically demanding kindergarten programs.
