About Dyann

I spent two years providing services for an elderly gentleman who had severe diabetes, had lost his legs, was nearly blind and hard of hearing. Years later, I became my mother's caretaker for three years, while working for the Family Stress Center and Children and Family Services assisting Social Workers and families. Then, 14 years ago I started working with the older population full time. I have helped and assisted many individuals and families during this time, with general assistance, shopping, cooking, appointments, and light house cleaning, and many times being their companion. I have taken care of both men and woman ages 74-101! Some of whom have had dementia or Alzheimer's. I care deeply for helping people feel as independent as possible and empowering them to be able to function to their best abilities, always respecting their individuality.
