Dwight is a rare gem. He has been taking care of my father, who is 85, and experienced two strokes in January of 2019, which began the need for him to relearn ambulation through PT, as well as needing to rebuild his articulation and memory. He is not an easy patient because he alternates between being fully coherent, and being disoriented. He is also unhappy to find himself in Assisted Living. And, yet, despite being a patient who is not easy - Dwight has treated him with respect, imagination, and genuine concern. Dwight is an author, with creative insight into the human condition, as well as a practicing Buddhist, rich in compassion. This is more than I could have ever hoped for in a caregiver. He is intelligent, punctual, genius of spirit and, bottom line, has made our family very lucky to have him in our ken. That I am not alone in praising him is evidenced by the fact that the references I called before hiring him responded immediately, giving him top votes.
