About Dulce

We absolutely love our work with children. We enjoy caring for them and learning with them. We have been caring for a toddler since April 2024 and since last fall, we have also been caring for an infant. Before that, we gained experience caring for infant and toddler cousins for a few months at a time. We have a background in special education and are also a birth companion. We are passionate about our role for all children are all of our Responsibility. We teach children to Respect all Life and to practice Gratitude and a deep connection with all of the Life surrounding us (ie., plant relatives, bird kin, etc). We reinforce what parents are prioritizing at home. We read their favorite books and enjoy a lot of time outside playing with the sacred elements and receiving Sun codes. We like to bake together and drum and sing, as well as participate in Story time at the local library.

Dulce is such a GIFT to our family! Dulce is so compassionate, empathetic, present, and patient with our little one. We are so thankful for how much they care for our little one as one of their own. We also appreciate that Dulce is open to collaborating on routines, education/learning opportunities, mindfulness activities, and even developmental skills for our little one. We love that Dulce enjoys being out in nature, reading, dancing, and singing, etc! Their level of love, patience and genuine joy is indescribable. Thank you, Dulce!!!
