About Dr Gigi

Hello dear family! I'm Gigi, a healing centered educator with a doctorate in trauma healing (not a medical doctor) and a lifelong calling to love on little ones. I bring extensive infant and special needs experience, CPR/First Aid training (renewal needed), and I'm a former lifeguard. I have many years experience with autism (including nonverbal), Down syndrome, mobility needs, developmental delays, ADHD, trauma histories, sensory processing, respite care, and more. I managed a residential treatment center for ages 6-12 and was medication certified. I lived 10 years in South Africa caring for abandoned and medically fragile babies in a babies home and my own home, and supported children of all ages in a children's home. I'm warm, playful, and nurturing, helping children feel safe, seen, and connected. As an adoptive mom of two with complex medical needs, I stay steady in challenging moments.
