About Drew

I love helping kids learn, explore, and have fun! My approach is very much like Ms. Frizzle's-I believe learning should be an adventure, whether we're hunting for bugs, creating art, trying simple science experiments, or finding magic in everyday moments. For the past four years, Ive cared for children from infancy through their teen years, including experience with neurodivergent children. I love meeting each child where they are and creating a safe, supportive space where they feel understood and celebrated. One thing that's especially important to me is helping children build healthy communication skills and understand their emotions. I love encouraging kids to talk about how they're feeling, work through challenges and build confidence as they grow. I believe emotional learning is just as important as academic learning. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I'm happy to help with meal prep, housekeeping, swimming supervision, and whatever helps your family's routine run smoothly.
