I have nearly two years of professional experience working in a day program setting, supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, from their 20s to 80+ years old. My experience includes providing assistance to individuals with disabilities, operating wheelchair-accessible and handicap-equipped vehicles, and supporting personal care and hygiene needs when required. I have also accompanied and supervised individuals during community outings throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including visits to parks, museums, beaches, aquariums, and various recreational and educational activities. Through this work, I have developed strong skills in caregiving, communication, safety awareness, transportation, and community engagement.
