I've dedicated the past two years to working at a K-12 school as a Paraprofessional with high needs children. Driven by my passion for nurturing children's growth and development. I believe in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity and friendly nature, allows me to connect with children and build strong relationships with them. I prioritize open communication with parents, ensuring they receive regular updates. Whether it's through written daily reports or text messages, I adapt to their preferred communication style. With my experience in enforcing household rules, I can effectively manage children's behavior while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere. From outdoor sports to board games and puzzles, I enjoy engaging children in a variety of games that foster their physical, mental, and social development. Prior to working at the school I was an HHA for adults with mental illness.
