About Douglas

I was a late addition to a large family with 4 siblings--8 to 18 years older than me. In recent years, I have stepped into the gap to assist my own elderly siblings with location moves, doctor visits, technical support and more. Through that I have found that I have gifts of patience, empathy and communication that could perhaps serve someone else's loved one. I'd describe my personality as calm, patient and sometimes funny. I like caring for seniors because they have the best stories. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding in a way that corporate America cannot provide. I started caring for seniors when my own siblings began to retire and need help with various things. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, listen to and play music and spend time with my friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that I know a little bit about a lot of things. My skills include errands/shopping, light house projects and computer/phone/tv support.
