I'm Dory! I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse with 20 years of experience and an active nursing license. I'm also a neurodivergent person living with ADHD, which has given me both challenges and gifts. Over the years, I've learned and refined many coping strategies that truly work in everyday life, and I love passing those along to young people who need them. I'm naturally upbeat and a bit of a Chatty Cathy, but I'm also self-aware -- I know when to bring energy and conversation, and when to provide quiet, steady support. My goal is always to create a safe space where teens feel seen, accepted, and encouraged. I understand how the world can sometimes feel too serious when you see it differently, and how lonely it can be when people don't share your perspective. That's why it's so powerful to connect with someone who just gets it. I bring that understanding, along with inclusivity, humor, and patience, into the work I do.
