About Dorothy

Professional live-in nanny working with a variety of different ages ranging from newborn to 18, from 1987 until 1995 when I married. Continued nannying part-time for another 8 years whilst also working as a personal assistant to mother in the same family in her textile agency business. Spent 13 years running my own home help business which involved mostly caring for and assisting elderly clients, babysitting plus some cleaning work. I also during the last few years of that period and up until the present time have been part owner with my husband of a small carpentry business. I am friendly, caring, punctual, hardworking and adaptable with good listening skills and love children. I have homeschooled both of my children, the older of which is high-functioning with Asperger Syndrome to the point where both have graduated high-school, and my youngest is moving on to college level education.
