About Dorothea

I am a kind, patient, compassionate, loving mother, and caregiver/retired nurse with over 28 yrs experience. My passion is taking care of our geriatric population by providing companionship, health care services, and medical care. I take care of all populations including babies. I enjoy singing, reading, and bowling. I have particularly worked with those with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Memory Care. Duties I have performed are meal planning, errands, transports to Dr's appts, light house cleaning, Medication Management, personal care; bathing/dressing, ADL, and many special requests. I've also spent the last 18 years years working in hospice service. I treat every client like they are my very own family and with dignity, respect, and love. I have had extensive training in wound care and have traveled to the Mayo Clinic for specialized training.
