Hi, I'm Dorit. I'm a recently retired executive, and family caregiving has been part of my life for years, so I know how rare and needed a real break is when you're the one carrying it every day. For decades I worked with companies focused on senior health and safety, so I have a genuine, practical understanding of things like memory changes, fall risk, and the small daily challenges that come with aging. But honestly, what I love most is much simpler: sitting with someone and finding out what actually interests them. There's so much wisdom in older adults! When I'm with a client, I'm reading aloud, cooking a meal, chatting, or just keeping them good company. I can help with errands and appointments too. My focus is respite care specifically, giving families time to breathe, knowing their loved one is in warm, attentive hands.
