About Doris

Hello! My name is Doris & caring for children has always been a natural & meaningful part of my life. While much of my experience comes from raising my own child as a dedicated single mother, I have helped care for friends & family with their children. Being trusted with little ones has always been something I take great pride in. I would describe my approach as loving but firm. nurturing, compassionate, and structured. Watching them learn new things, express their personalities is something I find very meaningful. Ideally, I would love to work with a family that appreciates structure and patience. I became a mother firsthand experience with every stage of a child's development. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my niece. I genuinely care about the children I look after. Being trusted with someone's child is something I take very seriously. I like to involve my niece everyday activities so she feels included & learns the importance of independence.
