About Doris

Taking care of kids is in my DNA. Being the oldest of 8 kids means I've been doing childcare for nearly my whole life. While I have chosen to not have a family of my own, I show up for my nieces, nephews and friends kids as if they were my own. For the past 4 years I've had the honor of caring for a family with 4 kids, providing weekend overnight care once or twice a month. I've watched the kids grow and cherish that I am an adult in their life they can call when they need a hand or support. Spending time with kids help you stay in the moment. My goal is to enforce household expectations and find ways to have fun, connect and learn new things (boardgames, crafts, outside adventures!). I am open to attending games, practices and school events while spending time with your kids - I know that they have lots going on too.
