About Dorinda

I learned just how much I like working with seniors at my administrative role in a nursing home where I was employed for years. Prior to that I worked with seniors in independent living. I'm looking for a person to work for/with that I can bring some smiles and laughter to while helping with daily routines. In my spare time, I like to go to the park, feed the birds, listen to music, encourage and support friends and family, do puzzles and watch tv. I come from a family of FDNY firefighters. After 25 + yrs in FL I have returned to my hometown to be near family again. We spend every Sunday together. My skills include listening, viewing old photos. Helping navigate the internet for shopping or entertainment purposes. Handling challenging business situations via telephone if needed. Going out to be in nature, shopping, driving to and advocating for doctor visits, light housekeeping /breakfast and lunch, etc.. My number one skill is being a good, caring, friend type companion.
