About Doriann

Hi! My name is Doriann. I recently graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have been babysitting since I was 16 years old, beginning with my younger cousins and eventually caring for children throughout my community. Over the years, I have worked primarily with toddlers and school-aged children, but I enjoy spending time with kids of all ages. My background in child development, communication, and education has given me experience working with children with a variety of personalities, abilities, and needs. I enjoy helping with homework, creating fun activities, playing outdoors, reading stories, and keeping children engaged in a safe and positive environment. Families describe me as responsible, patient, dependable, and trustworthy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
