About Doria

I'd describe my personality as caring, loving, kind, and fun-loving. I was a teacher, and I resigned in 2023 to homeschool our younger son, who is now in college and flight school at 16! My skills include providing excellent childcare, creating authentic learning experiences, pretend play, providing lots of outdoor time, taking children on fun outings, and no screen time unless they are not feeling well. I am happy to keep the home tidy and clean up after myself and the children, do children's laundry if there's downtime, meal prep, run errands if kids go to pre-school part-time, and take care of the family dog (no cats-allergic). I am well-versed in Montessori methods, and I read and write Spanish and Greek, so I can incorporate this into learning if parents wish. I do follow a schedule that we design together as kids feel happy with a predictable routine. I can commit to working for a family for two years until May of 2028.
