About Dorela

I am a college student majoring in dental hygiene and minor in child psychology. I find being around children to be uplifting and energizing, especially when invited to view the world through their lens and explore their curiosity with them. Their abundant creativity, playfulness and innocence feels therapeutic to me. I've been working with kids since I was kid! I grew up with an Albanian background, and it's embedded in us to take care of one another at an early age. My aunt's children, my nieces/nephews who I've been blessed to have, kids in the neighborhood who need an emergency babysitter. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, write poetry, and take photos. One thing you should know about me is that I am an extremely positive, loving and friendly person. I am always smiling and laughing. My skills include communication skills, planning and instruction, creative thinking, decision making skills, problem-solving skills, compassion and empathy.
